The UBC Masters Swim Club is a non-profit organization of adult swimmers with a volunteer board of directors. We've been around for more than 40 years!

Members can participate in professionally coached swim practices as often as four days per week year round. Our membership is a diverse group of students, academics, professionals and retirees, from 18 to 80+ years old, whose interests range from simply maintaining their health and fitness to racing in organized competition at the provincial, national and international level. We are not associated with UBC (ie. you do not have to be a student).

We swim in the competition pool at UBC Aquatic Centre and if possible outdoor locations on the weekends in the summer.

Guest Swimmers

Visiting masters swimmers outside the lower mainland are welcome to swim with the club for up to two weeks. Due to the terms and conditions in our insurance policy, swimmers will have to register with SwimBC ($49) if they plan to swim for more than two weeks*. Contact us for more details and to arrange.

*It has to be approved by the executive board, and there most be space in the club.
